TAURUS READING BY @CODYCHANNEL
Taurus rules over the constellation of the Bull or “the great bull of heaven,” the symbol of abundance, fertility, and fruits of labor. In between Spring and Summer (April 20th - May 20th), we can gather the fertile spring roses and count our blessings. During Taurus season, it’s important to spend time singing, romancing, and speaking truths much like our favorite members of the Grateful Dead.
"Standing on the moon, with nothing left to do. A lovely view of heaven, but I'd rather be with you - be with you.”
Taurus rules the throat and neck and is associated with a melodic speaking voice. The most beautiful and heart activating sounds and tones flow freely from the vibration of this constellation. Taurus is known for its soulful and expansive music taste and performance style.
At first glance, Taureans will have you looking at “their monumental eyes I can feel” as the Grateful Dead sings, which are reflective of the emotional depth they yearn to find.
Taureans are the most sensual and loving sign in the zodiac. They romanticize and get nostalgic over every detail of their lover. They sing the lyrics that pull at your heartstrings.
“The girl I love, she's sweet and true. You know the dress she wears, sweet mama, it's pink and blue. She brings me coffee, you know she brings me tea.”
The key to the heart of a Taurus is through indulging their senses with food, drink, and beautiful surroundings. Taurus appreciates beautiful clothing more than any other sign! They give so much to the ones they love and are looking to partner for life to share their bounty. Bring them a warm cup of tea and a soft blanket to thank them for all their generosity.
Taurus can be a bit of a late bloomer, or slow to start because they are so invested in following their hearts desires. They are known to be savvy at saving, creating a strong foundation, and working very hard for what they feel is important. They are rulers of earth and are at the forefront of ecological protection as they are connected to our mother earth and desire to nurture.
When they are off duty, no one knows how to relax harder than the Taurus. Their unique humor can rattle the cosmos with a “cosmic giggle.” In their highest sense, they embody their unique soul with divine expression.
“Inspiration, move me brightly. Light the song with sense and color; Hold away despair, more than this I will not ask.”
Taurus rules over value, fertility, and longevity. They are known by many to be of stable mind and body and generate many successful projects so long as they are in tune with their personal self worth. Once they find a project that makes their heart sing, they cannot be stopped. Not ever.
“Gone are the days when the ox fall down, take up the yoke and plow the fiends around.”
Bob Weir has his north node in Taurus which represents his soul desire and purpose/expression. Being apart of the Grateful Dead, his soul craved to sing and to create new and unique vocal and guitar progressions.
Taurus in its higher sense is grounded, earthy, and sensual bringing high levels of artistic and spiritual expression into the material realms. So why not step inside their garden of earthly delights?
Phil Lesh has his Venus in Taurus which is an amazing placement as Venus rules over Taurus. Venus magnifies love, musical abilities, art and conversation. Taurus can be incredible listeners, especially when the topic is about record collections or music genres!
“We sing a little song before we eat, a little blessing before we eat, and it's really - we're thanking the Lord and the Earth for the food that we eat, and it really brings you together in a profound kind of way”. - Phil Lesh
