"...Here we are in 2026, thrilled to be back into the spring tour of 1984, with two complete shows. The highlights are many. Too many to mention, really. From the first night, the echoes on the closing 'Fire On The Mountain' jam are unique to this show and blow my mind every time. The extremely long 'Estimated Prophet' drops into a powerful 'Drums' rather than the usual 'Eyes' or 'He’s Gone.'' The entire second set is rock ’n’ roll—no ballads or slower-tempo songs. From the second show, they open and close the first set with two very jammed Weir/Barlow songs, before opening the second set with one of the coolest, most unique renditions of 'Touch Of Grey' you’ll ever encounter. Give it a listen—you’ll notice it immediately. Later in the set, one of the greatest versions of 'Morning Dew' from the 1980s will rock your world, as it does mine every time I hear it. And on and on. These two shows, two of my favourites from 1984, don’t have a skippable moment. Hopefully you have five hours to settle in and be transported back 42 years ago to one of the most important venues in Grateful Dead history, the Hampton Coliseum. I hope you dig these shows as much as we do."
—David Lemieux
